  • 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup / 78 grams of maple syrup
  • 2 eggs at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup of buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Firstly, beat the butter and cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl until smooth. Then add 4 1/2 cups of powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon of heavy cream, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and the maple flavor and salt.

Step 2: Beat Until Smooth

Then turn the mixer to medium and beat until everything is combined, and the frosting is very smooth. Add additional milk or powdered sugar if necessary.
